Electric desk converter or motorized TV lift: which should you choose?
To place a large display at the right height in front of a walking pad, choose between an electric sit-stand converter placed on existing furniture, such as the Spacetronik, and a motorized VESA TV lift fixed to the floor, inside or behind the cabinet.

Two mechanisms that require very different installation work
A desk converter is self-contained: place it on the existing cabinet, plug it in and let its platform travel vertically. A TV lift is a motorized column: remove the TV stand, attach the screen through VESA and screw the assembly to the floor or a structure capable of carrying the load. The first prioritizes simplicity; the second prioritizes integration and stability.

How to verify compatibility with your display
A desk converter and a VESA lift require different checks. For a converter, compare the complete display weight and stand footprint with the platform capacity and dimensions. For a TV lift, separately verify the supported diagonal, weight without the original stand and exact VESA pattern.

What each approach changes
The riser lifts the whole TV without modifying the cabinet, but the screen remains 15.6 cm higher even when lowered. A VESA lift looks cleaner and can store positions, but its column and base need secure mounting and cables must move through the entire travel.

A compatible screen diagonal is never enough to validate a motorized mount.

Why some attractive options do not suit every display
The KIMEX 018-6065W supports VESA 400×200 and offers Tuya, remote control and position memory. However, the manufacturer limits it to 43–88 inch displays. Large motorized ONKRON and Neomounts carts also start at 42 or 43 inches and occupy much more space than a domestic TV cabinet. An incompatible diagonal range is enough to reject a model, even when its VESA pattern and load rating appear suitable.
